Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship Description:

The Australian Catholic University offers the ACU International Student Scholarships to support commencing undergraduate and postgraduate International students who are high academic achievers in prior studies.

Value of Scholarship:

The Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarships will cover half of the full-time fees for the minimum duration of your programme at the ACU (RPL/Credit is inclusive).

The ACU International Student Scholarship can be maintained base on the following criteria;

·        Students must not achieve a GPA below 4.75 (on the ACU seven-point scale) throughout the duration of the course.

·        The ACU International Student Scholarship is not transferrable to alternative courses or campuses post initial enrolment.

·        Students must pay the required tuition fee (which is half of the total fees) in due dates

·        The scholarship remains valid for students on an approved Leave of Absence for up to 12 months

·        Awarded applicants must also agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.

Eligibility:

To be considered for the Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship, you must take note of the following criteria;

·        Applicants must an international student

·        Applicants intending to enrol in pathway/ Diploma/ Graduate Certificate courses are not eligible (only those intending to obtain any ACU degree are eligible)

·        Only first-year applicants are eligible

·        Must be intending to study full-time

·        Must have been offered admission into any undergraduate or postgraduate programme at ACU

·        Applicants must have achieved a result or score of at least 80% (equivalent to a GPA of 5.8 on the CU 7-point scale) in the previous study completed within the two years (undergraduate applicants) or four years (postgraduate applicants)

·        Must be enjoying any other ACU scholarship

·        Must not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student.

Application Process:

Applicants are required to present the following at the time of application;

·        Evidence of academic merit, showing achievement of an average of at least 80% (GPA 5.8 on the ACU 7 point scale) across your most recent program of study. (Academic records must include original language documents, translations (where applicable) and official explanation of grading system).
