Gates Cambridge Scholarships Description
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme was
initiated in the year 2000 by a donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation to the University of Cambridge.
This prestigious scholarship programme award outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to undertake a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge Scholarships;

Master of Business (MBA)

Master of Finance (MFin)

PGCE
·
MBBChir Clinical Studies
·
MD Doctor of Medicine degree (6 years,
part-time)
·
Graduate Course in Medicine (A101)
·
Part-time degrees
·
Non-degree courses
Value of Scholarship:
Each Gates Cambridge Scholarship will cover the full
cost of studying at the University of Cambridge. This includes; tuition fees,
travelling costs, visa, maintenance allowances among others. Visit this link

Number of Awards:
About 80 scholarships would be awarded annually
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship
programme, applicants must;
·
Be a citizen of any country outside the
United Kingdom (UK)
·
Be applying to undertake one of the
following full-time residential courses of study at the University of
Cambridge;
o
PhD
o
MSc/ MLitt
o
One year postgraduate course
Application Process:
Applicants are required to submit their application
for admission and funding (Gates Cambridge among other funding) through the
University’s Graduate Application Portal.
To be considered for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship
you are required to complete the section to apply for admission to a course and
a college place and the Gates Cambridge part of the funding section.
