Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship Description

The Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available to outstanding international and European Union students aspiring to pursue or currently pursuing a PhD degree in any discipline available at the University of Warwick

Value of Scholarship:

Each Warwick Chancellor International Scholarship will cover the following;

·        The full payment of tuition fees (worth up to £24,010)

·        A maintenance stipend in line with UKRI rates (provisional £15,285 for full-time award holders in 2021/22, expected to be confirmed February 2021)

·        A Research, Training and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000

Duration:

Duration of funding: 3.5 years, unless you are already in your first year of study when you apply then the length of funding will be reduced accordingly.

Number of Awards:

Up to 30 for 2021/2022

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship, you must;

·        Be applying for a PhD at the University of Warwick at the relevant date. Please check the application date and deadline on the official scholarship website which is provided below. 

·        Be assessed as 'overseas' or 'EU' for fees purposes, but there are no other nationality criteria

·        Not defer scholarship for the next academic year

Application Process:

To apply for the Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship, you must first apply for a PhD admission at the University of Warwick. Once you have submitted your admissions you would receive an automated e-mail revealing to you your student ID number and instructions on registering your ITS applicant account, which must be completed. This email can take up to 48 hours to get to you.

Applicants must upload all supporting documents (references and transcripts) at the relevant date.
